Default b16 still not revin HELP!!!!!!!!!!

hey i have a 1989 crx dx with a whole hf wiring harness it has a jdm b16a with a few mods also with a vafc (vtec controller) the problem is that it wont rev to 8200rpms like it should only around 6900-7000 tops with the pr3 ecu and the ecu is fine because i used someone elses pr3 and it did the same thing also when the pr3 is in it when i put it in reverse its acts like it wants to cut off and it putter and skips and whatnot so please someone help me out if they can thanks.

What tach are you looking at? Because if you are looking at the stock one, don't, they can easily be off by a ton up in the high rpms. If you're looking at the vafc then I don't know unless you are throwing codes and then your ECU is in limp mode. Good luck.

YOUR TACH IS OFF, so is mine..... Sure you have rode in other b16 and thier tachs arent off, but that theirs, not yours... YOUR tach is off... thats why your redline is messed.. Now why it sputters and such, I have no idea a little more info would help out alot, sounds like something with your idle

Um...You never seemed to answe my question, DO YOU HAVE ANY CEL? It's probally your vtec oil pressure switch, mine had the same probelm, would not rev to 8200... I changed the VOPS and BAM 8200 again
