PM6 ECU |?
ok i have a dpfi d15b2 engine right now, all i am planning on doing right now is converting to mpfi and im gonna use a pm6 ecu, in the future im planning and swapping a vtec head on the car i just want to kno if the same ecu that i will hav will work with the vtec head

It wont activate VTEC but it will run the motor fine. If you use that Ecu you will need to get a RPM activated switch or a VAFC for the VTEC to work

all correct. However I would suggest a VAFC over a RPM switch (even tho the vafc is more expensive) because it would be better for controlling the fuel.

instead of spending on the vafc I would go to obd1. Thats just me though. The vafc would help you control fuel too but I think the obd1 ecu would be better in the long run.

you will have to get a 92-95 Si or EX computer for it for the vtec to work. Edit: nevermind im an idiot. I would go vafc with an RPM switch for fuel reasons also

I think the PM5 is the DPFI ECU and the PM6 is the Si ECU
And to answer the origanal question...I would convert to OBDI and just run the P28.

run the p28 and call it a day, that way u dont have to deal with all the extra wiring of **** that can be taken care of by using a p28
