Default p30 on civic si

I have a 2000 civic si and ordering an obd2b-obd1 harness and now am looking for an ecu, I dont have money for someone to proffesionally tune it so I am thinking about getting the skunk2 ecu and chip. Will the p30 run my b16 smoothly or do I just need to wait until I can get someone to burn me a crome chip?

It will run it smoothly since the P30 is meant for a B16

do not get a generic skunk2 chip. if you can find a virgin p30, go with that until you have money for a tuned setup.
