hi i was wonder a lot if i got the skunk2 ecu chip program for my b16a swapfrom ebay... with it be the same as if i go out and buy the 250 dollar already chipped skunk2 chipped ecu ? because its teh same if i chip my own and buying a prechipped p28 ECU with skunk2 program i will save tons of money??? please let me know ! thanks here is the link to the skunk2 chip im talking about

Sounds like vtec is WAY to low for daily driving. And who cares about the redline, you can't hit that safely on a stock B16 anyways.

The timing curve? Now this sounds wierd.. I didn't think you could mess with the timing on an ecu. I thought the chip is only working with the air/fuel maps, and vtec xover.

I'd stay away from it. Find yourself a stock ecu or a chip you can trust. (Like kenji's).

well i was acutally wondering like will it look for all the emission stuff still and will does it look for a knock sensor.. because i was told the "Prechipped Skunk2 CHipped ECU" doesnt and i was wonder if i chip my stock ecu with the ebay chip will be exactly the same ecu as the "Prechipped SKunk2 Chipped ECU" please let me know thanks!
