Old design OMNI rlca's v.s. new design
Im in need of a set of rlca's with the sway bar mounting hole but im not sure which ones I should go with. I have heard good and bad about omni power bushings being weak and tearing out within a couple of months. Are these the old style control arms? I wonder what omni's warranty on these are? I checked the omni website but not much help there

a company called silk road use to make some really nice lca's back in the day, ssr makes some now, and of course my favriot function 7 which i've used on 2 cars, and 1 race car

yeah im loving the function7's also but the omni's were 85 shipped, i figured they were just getting rid of the old stock... i guess you get what you pay for. has anyone had any first hand experience with these?

Re: (crexer)
i have had 2 sets of those omnis on my cars and have never had a problem with the bushing tearing out. the only problem is that on my integra the sway bar holes didnt line up so i never even got a chance to put the swaybar on and then it was stolen. i have heard that you need custom enlinks to make it fit but im not positive. i beleive they came out with new ones now though that have blue bushings and have 3 different holes to mount the sway bar so hopefully those will be better.

your sway bar was a stock bar or the itr rear bar? yeah there is a newer design with stars engraved and i think there is an even newer design that have the blue urethane bushings

Why not go with oem lca's, if you have a 92-95 civic get integra lca's and if you have a 96-00 civic go with EX or SI lca's. With OEM you never have problems with fitment or quality.

Those are Gen 2 like Eran stated. Gen 1 has the stars and Gen 3 are polished and totally different styling. I have had mine on for at least 5 months and don't have any problems with the bushings. I was able to mount an ITR rear sway bar without any fitment problems.
