I'm not sure what you mean. Honda Torsen axles are an integral part of the differential so, no, you cannot "remove" the LSD and still have a working transmission to the ground.
If you have had a catastrophic failure and you're wondering if you can uses a Honda open diff as a replacement then, yes, that will work...you just won't be able to put all the power down as well as you were able to do it before.
Tell us more about what's going on.

I have an aftermarket clutch type LSD in my tranny now. I wish to remove it and have a tranny with no LSD. Can I just remove it from my tranny and have a car that still moves after that?

no, you would need to put another b-series differential in there

no, it means the piece that you intend to remove.
aka, the LSD, aka the diff, aka differential.
and in order to have it work with your current sized final drive, it would have to be from a GS-R as LS/16A are sized differently.

I'm not sure why you'd want to remove your clutch-type LSD. Does it point you too quickly because it works off throttle, or what?
Did you buy a high performance track car that doesn't suit you or something?
What you could do if you don't want your clutch-type LSD is trade it with somebody who has an open diff or an OEM Honda Torsen axle (a stock ITR LSD). Somebody who has gone far enough with his car's development that he might want a clutch LSD might even be willing to help you with the labour.
What exact LSD is this, and what axle ratio do you have?

I have a 4.6 Final Drive with a Spoon LSD. I was thinking if its better in the long run to have a service free stock ITR LSD instead of having to replace the clutch plates on the Spoon LSD. Also, I am having a hard time choosing a tranny fluid that can protect my syncros and LSD at the same time. For Syncro protection, my LSD doesn't work well, for LSD protection, it jerks like crazy on slow turns when the MTF has not warmed up.

As I've told you in 2 other threads, I've been using Redline MT-90 for over 100,000 miles with no adverse affects. *shrug*

Haha don't you hate that?
People who ask for advice and then insist that you've gotta be wrong and keep digging....
for persistence I guess....

Hey dude, I've not said I don't believe in your advise. I'm just trying to seek some advise on going around the problem instead of having to use certain fluids. I still remembered your recommendation for MT-90.
