Camber Kitss
my camber is gettin bad so i am lookin for front and rear camber kits and after word align my car . I am think about Omni Cambers ?? any other good brands out there for a 99Civiccoup
do my springs (i think they are cheapo's off ebay) have to be the same brand as the camber kits im going to buy? Skunk 2.. i was about to buy them, but then i heard that they have to be the same brand.. any help please!
Please take into consideration that I've been aligning lowered Hondas/Acuras for over 5 years now, have seen every camber kit imaginable, and have seen what works and what doesn't.
Having said that I'd go with Skunk2 or Omni Power as long as they are the newer style upper control arms with the brace plate for the allen bolts to screw into.
What do I mean?
These are the shitty old style ones that have the allen bolts that you adjust from the top - these are known for their weaknesses on the slots where the adjustable balljoint slides. The slots flare out and bend, rendering the camber kit useless:

After repeated failures/problems a redesign was done to the kit to add a thick plate to brace the thin slots on the control arms:

Another look at the balljoint itself:

Note that you adjust the allen bolts from the bottom.
After doing a search on Omni Power front kits I could not find any pics with the good balljoints, so you may need to buy the Skunk 2 Pro Series kits with the good balljpoints or you will regret it. Maybe someone else can chime in about Omni Power and the balljoint issue.
As far as rear kits go DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Rear camber can be corrected with shims and longer bolts where the upper control arm bolts to the car.
I'll be back with more on the rears and general alignment settings after I finish what I'm doing at work.

ive been running the skunk2 pro series kit up front since december 05. i havent had any problems what so ever. this is on a del sol BTW so its the same as any 92-95 civic/94-01 integra. if i were you i would put my money towards the skunk2 piece. b18c5-eh2 is right though dont waste your money on rears. i dont have any and i dont get bad camber wear.
