What tires???
hey guys what tires should i get i'm getting 16 inch wheels but i have no idea which tire to choose? i'm debating on getting the falken azenis tires, or some bridgestones or pirellies i'm not sure it's going to primarily be a streetdriven dragcar. any help would be great thanks
it's a 99 Civic hacth with b18c5
(good times) but it prolly wont ever see snow i've had it since new and the only time was when it started snowing when i was cleaning the garage out
prolbably wont see alot of rain either i'm also debating on the yokohama spec-2's? i've drivin an SI that had the falkens on them and i liked the grip it had and comfort isn't an issue ladys dont like my car so they dont ride in it

it also depends on many other factor do you want just dry performance or do you want dry and wet performance and do you want a good tread wear and what is your budget?
If you can answer these questions for me I can help you out alot more then just telling you to get Azenis and then its not what you are looking for! I want you to get your money worth even if its not an object!

if you want a good dry and wet tire then i would suggest the bfg kdw nt or the gdy eagle f-1...if you only see mostly dry pavement than the falken rt 615 would be a good tire or the hankook rs-2
lol... ummm... i dont really have a budget and i would like a tire thats got really good dry and decent wet just in case i get caught up in the rain, i wouldn't mind having to get new tires a lot like with the falkens but if i'm going to get the falkens wouldn't it just be better to get drag radials??
One you state you want something good in the rain. well that is a big nono with drag radials. The azenis RT615 are ok in the rain. They are not great but ok. I think the best tire for you would be the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. I would really consider it over any of the above as it is closer to what you are looking for.
I would recommend the Azenis over the Drag Radial if you are doing some auto-x and other forms of road racing. If you are just going to drag the go with the drag radials.
The Goodyear are what you are looking for trust me!
