Default new exhaust for me, stock with cutout

sick of being pulled over...

i'm gonna get an upper heat shield for my JDM 4-1, then use a carsounds 2.5" cat with a Type-R catback (and a cutout----have to talk to my muffler shop as to where to put it? directly after the cat?)....

what do y'all think?

That's what I plan on doing. I think the Type R exhaust is fine and it sounds great, no throttle, or WOT. What do you mean with "cutout?"

hahaha

a bunch of my muscle car boyz use that ****...

u know train tracks, how u can switch em so u make a train go the other way....
well that's how a cut out works, cept that it reroutes the exhaust to another opening (direct opening!)

essentially, open exhaust with the hit of a switch

If, that works, that would be awesome. Instant on and off silencer.

If you do a quick search there was a guy on here a few weeks ago with a link to a site that sells an electronic one controlled by a servo i'm assuming... I thought it would leak but he said it was good.

I'm sure it can be done, I wonder if everything still flows smoothly while it's not running open cat?
