just hooked up hondata and I am throwing codes? HELP!
The cel light has actually been on since the T1R exhaust was installed b/c it eliminated one O2 sensor, so I was like ok no big deal. Now after I installed my hondata and was running some datalogging it showed a Knock Sensor Error and Oxygen Sensor Heater. I know the OSH is a simple fix I replaced it on my old b16 delsol but is it b/c of the O2 sensor not there that it is throwning both codes out? The car is running fine, a little rich but Vtec and everything is normal. So do I need to even worry about either one? or is one or both being caused b/c of that O2 sensor missing? I also tried to clear DTC's but they came right back on. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

i have heard that as well, but why?
i have heard that as well, but why?
im just using the itr basemap. Could that be the reason for the knock sensor, b/c of the base map and with my exhaust is making the car run richer triggering the knock sensor?

Generally this is true, when you are trying to get a solid tune, you do not want the ECU to take control of anything, especially something as important as ignition timing.

Open Romeditor. Open your Rom. Click on the options tab. Check the box to disable the knock sensor. Save the Rom. Burn a chip with the new Rom.
