Does SOHC ZC bolt up to a d16z6 head?
I have d16z6 head and i have the choice of using either d16a6 block or sohc zc block. I was told that zc has a different head bolt pattern and won't work, is this true? can anybody shed some light on the subject?
p.s. tryed search but the stupid search won't do 2 letter words like "zc".

Isn't the 'y8 a little bit different than the 'z6 though. Everybody I've read about so far has used the d16y8 for this. I don't have the 'y8, i just have the d16z6 lying in a little red box whispering to me everyday: "give me life".
im almost positive it will work, the only difference in the two heads is the y8 head has square combustion chambers. Im pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same for all d-series heads.
