posted this in the fi forum but no reply.hope someone can awnser...im lookin at gettin a top mount kit but dont want to loose my ps. is their any way i can relocate the ps so that it could be used??? 00ek civic thanks in advance peeps

I'v never seen it done before. THere is really nowere you could put it, especially with a turbo kit in there. Why do you need power steering?

well i still want to be as comfortable as possible for dd or even weekend use.

how stiff is the steering without it?? i suppose id get used to it in no time.

wat ye reckon?are u runnin no ps? need as much feedback as possible on this peeps. dont want to regret spending thousands on a kit if the car is hoin to be a bastard to drive

I don't have power steering on my car. You hardley even notice it at speeds over 5mph. You will only really notice it when parking. Even then, it's not that bad.

was thinkin anout electric ps. a few buddys of mine are tryin to work on sumthin at the mo to try and relocate it

why not consider a kit that keeps ps then?


otherwise, cowboy the expletive up and get used to no ps.

if you live in the city or do a lot of parallel parking, keep the PS.... I had a no ps hatch and my newest DD is a PS hatch and it's like winning the lottery (if you parallel park a lot).

Top mount kits are only for show... a Quick4 or ramhorn will flow just as well or better, and there are P/S versions out there.

yea bud live in the city,and do a lot of shity parking.well it looks like it can be done,a buddy is makin up another bracket etc etc so fingers crossed.
