Default B18C-R blew up...time for a rebuild..

So my b18c-r (96 spec itr), blew up a month ago, havent had time to do anythin up until now, so im tryin to figure out a couple things here. I will need a new head, so i was either looking to get the b16 or itr head...now...does it matter wat gen the b16 head is from like 1st or 2nd gen work the same? as for the block...one of the pistons is destroyed...but the cylinder wall is perfect, except for a very tiny minor knick in it...will that affect anythin, or should i just buy 4 new pistons with rings, etc, and replace the bearings too since im already there.

My goal is just to have it running properly, reliable and strong without not spending crazy money as ill be selling the car come spring time.

Thanks in advance!

WELL IF THE WALLS HAS A "LITTLE KNICK" IN IT I WHOUL DEF GET THE BLOCK HONED,REPLACE ALL THE NEW BEARING WITH EITHER OEM HONDA OR ACL.

THE 1ST GEN OR 2ND GEN DOESNT PLAY A BIG DIFFERANCE JUST THE MANIFOLD AND TB ALONG WITH SENSORS ARE NOT THE SAME,SINCE YOU HAD A TYPE R HEAD ALL YOUR PARTS CAN JUST BE SWAPPED OVER TO THE HEAD YOU GOING TO BE BUYING.
