Bored and stroked
all you need is a gsr, ls crank with rods if you want to go 1.8l( will cost you less than the spoon strocker kit)
you can also sleeve the block to 84,85mm for a 2.0l set up.

notice how he said "sleeve the block to 84mm,85mm" i dont thing you can do that on stock sleeves, but drop-in sleeves, like benson, GE, darton etc, are all good.
