my 94 civic ex just starting doing this when i drive the temp goes way down like just about the cold mark but it still blows hot air like a motherf*#$er. then goes to normal after i sit and idle for a while. never did this before what could cause this? maybe a bad coolant temp sensor. my fluid level is fine and no air in the system. thanks for the help.
check your radiator and fluid make sure there are no cracks in it make sure your radiator fan comes on if it doesnt that means your relay switch is bad check your fuses check your thermostat and check your water pump this is all i know what to check for because my temp gauge would go up and down and i had a bad thermostat so good luck dude
