out of the pair in the background the red is the positive(power), and the black is the negative if that helps

me and cockerkid08 tried fixing his horn for 3 days straight. we couldnt figure it out. its not the relay or the horn. we are getting continuity from the buttoms down the steering column and everything. we just cant the buttons to activate the horn but we can ground it out on things and make it sound. so he order a airbag reel because it was broken. when he gets it i guess either one of us can let you know if it works.

On my car that wire that you show being cut goes to the big yellow connector on the right hand area of the column insides. Presumably something to do with the air bag.

I'm having a horn problem too, so I'll be keeping an eye on your thread to see if maybe we have a similar issue!

Good luck.

i dont see the cut wire but anyways i highly doubt somebody or something would have fucked up the horn wiring behind the air bag. Check fuses and then check the connector for the horn in the bay its white with green stripe and black with red or something like that. Make sure you have positive with positive and neg w/ neg connected correctly to the horn. also maybe your horn compressor is bad?? Try someone elses horn that you know works.
