Default need help v-tec not working

i just got my car out off the shop. i did a h22a swap on a ek. i drove it home and v-tec was kicking in hard. so i thaught that was a good thing. the following day i drove and somethings werent right every time i hit v-tec it sputters. than i took it back to the shop and they told me that my chip on my ecu is fry. so they burn me a new chip now v-tec still not working. i was ready to get it tuned and i told them my v-tec still dont work and they told me v-tec dnt hit that hard on h22 so i said whtatever so we did the first pass and it made 146 with no v-tec we tried it again it was the same thing over. so we grab a new v-tec silenoid and still was doing the same thing. put a new distributor still the same thing we check the oil pressure and everytime it engage at 60 psi in v-tec it drops back down. wht u think is wrong with it. no oil going to the head. this motor has low mileage runs stong. we did comprssion check and it was pretty high.. so i NEED HELP WITH THIS ISSUE

That sounds exactly like what my car is doing. You can hear and feel the vtec cross over but seems like it is hitting a rev limiter and sputtering/missing.
