Default h22 v-tec

i can take a stock ecu that crosses vtec at 4.9rpm and put it in my car and the vtec will cross at 6rpm no matter what i do.

do you mean 6000 RPM? take off the vtec solenoid and check it out. its got to be clogged or the actuator is broken.

most of the time your tach is just off. mine has never been real accurate

Lsvtecndx are u getting a check engine light? Simple think to check first off is to try checking ur oil level too.

did you try to go into VTEC in first gear only, or other gears also? You must be doing at least 20mph for VTEC to engage.

yeah, my vtec engages pretty late in first gear, but in all others, right on the money, 5200 RPM
