Default Clicking noise

What does it mean when there's a clicking sound inside the cylinder head?

I started to hear it today. It still runs good and I just had the spark plug wires, distributor, cap & rotor changed. I thought the clicking came from the distributor, but I traced it to the cylinder head.

Can anyone help?

Depending on the miles on it... maybe it needs a valve adustment... I just adjusted my valves because it was a little clicky and louder, now its quiet and it sounds alot better.

ya it might be the tapets so just pull out the old manual and see what the specs for adjusting the valves are.
you will need size ten socket wrench, feeler gauges, and a flat head, i think thats it.

If its an older b16, you need new "lost motion assemblies" and a valve adjustment wont hurt

do a search on the LMA's

I know it gives the specs for the stock d series engines on a sticker under the hood. remember that those specs are with the engine COLD.
