how are they compare to the mugen or spoon headgasket if i want to raise my compression? also, wat piston should i use if i want to raise my compression in my C5?

I've used it, and no complaints about it. You can just buy a OEM head gasket and make it a two layer also, by taking out the middle layer of the gasket. Same thing as the buddy club.

I heard alot of people say that OEM > aftermarket, so if i want to raise my compression, should i just use different piston? like a oversize .25mm from a b16b?
yea that would help out if you do. the buddy club head gasket only you only raise ur compression to 10:8:1 if you want to experiment and see what compression you will get, heres a link.

please elaborate,
i've got Buddy Club 3+ cams, valves ,pulleys bought for my '97 jdm itr. i also purchased the buddy club head gasket to raise my compression a bit, i'm just waiting on arp head bolts to arrive & i intend starting the build.
i've searched this subject quite a bit, CTR pistons would raise my compression too much for daily driving (irish octane is 95) so the thinner head gasket was my best option,i assumed valve adjustment and the tensioner would compensate for the thinner gasket????
please elaborate,
