clutch safety switch questions..
does anyone have a diagram or pic the wires/electrical under the clutch well? if you do, can you help me out please because i'm trying to get my itr to start
when i bought it, it had a switch for the battery..i don't know if the previous owner did something with the clutch safety switch..but if anyone can help me out. thanks in advance.i really want to drive my itr. btw it was towed to my house.
(picked it up for 7,500;salvage from theft, but nothing missing

I know that you can look under the clutch pedal and there is a switch. There are alot of potential problems if it doesnt crank, But a malfunction in the clutch safty switch definatly could be your problem. You can disconnect the switch and put a paper clip and jump the two connections and try that.

i was just kidding.. lol i know which pedal is which. its just that there are a lot of plugs and wires above the clutch well

get under where the pedals are, push ur clutch in by hand, or have someone do it slowly while ur under there, follow the top of the pedal(u have to be down there to see it). when the pedal is fully enganged (pushed all the way to the floor) it will push in a switch, which will allow the car to start, alot of times there is pin thats on the pedal itself that breaks off, and its not the actual switch. hope that helps.
