clutch switch help!!!
ok so my car all of a sudden needs to be push started. i think its teh clutch switch, and i want to just bypass the switch so that i dont need to press down the clutch pedal to start car. im a newbie at this, so can someone explain this to me thoroughly lol. there are 2 connectors also, is it the top one or bottom?thanks in advance
This just happened to me recently in my Prelude....and just to let you know, it's a LOT easier to hot-wire the starter than push start the car. At least with a tank like a Prelude.
Nonetheless, it's the top switch on my car, but I'd do a little more reading. You can unplug the interlock switch and insert a paper clip like a jumper into it and that will bypass the clutch interlock.
Good luck!
