Well, Its been a while and I Finnally got my car runnin ... and for the record... k20s are pretty fast :D

a new issue im tryin to over come is the fact that the jdm cluster i have for this car doesnt competley work with the car...

at first the only thing that worked were all the symbols and speedometer...

the temp guage would always rise to hot.. the gas and rpm didnt do a thing.... and when i turned on an indicator.. both left/right would lightup and high beams...

I decided to take a look at the back of the cluster... and realized that the ground wire in the tach harness was in the wrong spot.. and so was the gas and temp...

everything works except my rpm... and i really need this to work to be able to feel full potential of my new project...

anyone knows what next to do??? where to look...? so far.. i traced the cluster and it leads to a blue wire thats in the itr harness and if im correct.. blue is the RPM wire and belongs there....

 

swap the green film on the back with a stock 01 itr cluster film

 

ken is right, but sometimes when you swap only the green film, the icons might still be in the wrong location. best thing to do is swap the gauges

what i found out is that the 2001 itr has the wires in different locations than the 1997 jdm itr... i had to trace the green film and found that the ground wire is in the wrong spot.. and so is the gas and temp...
