ok when i put my car into reverse it slams into reverse from starting it when cold,if i let it warm up it will not do it so bad,someone told me the throttle body either needs to be cleaned or replaced.anyone know anything about this,had this problem,or know if i am even barkin up the right tree?

 

its not your throttle body unless its running at a much higher RPM when cold. its probably your tranny, change the fluid and filter

 

when it is cold the rpms surge from bout 1 to 1.5 or 2 to 2.5,then when warm it stops

 

Is your throttle body stock or modded? If it surges,
the plate might be sticking on the opening. Just clean it up with a degreaser.

 

it is stock,do i just up bolt and clean it out,that simple,or require more?

 

It's simple to clean it. Remove the intake, play with the throttle body plate. If it is sticking check inside and clean out as much you can.

 

or could be the tb ball that is lose, need to be tighten
