Default Has this ever happened to anyone? please help

Hey everyone well last night i was driving in my 94 eg hatch (gsr swap) and a prelude H22 pulls next to me at a red light and the light turns green so we went ahead and slammed on the gas....My car redlined at 7 RPM's so I was like wtf so I shifted to 2nd gear and redlined again at 7 RPM's so I shifted to third hoping it wouldn't do the and same thing...I still got like a car and half on the prelude but my car usually redlines at 9200 RPM...I have a skunk 2 P28 ECU OBD-1 converted....and usually my vtec kicks in at 5200 RPMs and yesterday it was kicking in at 4500 RPM'S...Just 2 days ago I changed my cluster, I had a jdm cluster and now have a US automatic cluster w/ tach, could this be the problem?? cause the only other thing i changed was my valve cover and i dont think that effected anything....I also unplugged the wires from the ecu and plugged them back in to see if anything would change but i got the same results...Please let me know if this has happened to anyone and if so what did you do to fix it or if anyone knows what is wrong with my car...thanks

you're new cluster's tach is off. Or you're old cluster's tach was off....

I thought that could be the problem so I am going to exahnge it today and see if i get the same result....Because I dont know why it would make my vtec kick in earlier and redline sooner....and i previously had a US cluster and it was for a manual car off a civic ex before my JDM one and vtec kicked in at 5200 rpm and redlined at 9200 rpms....IDK but im going to try putting the jdm cluster back hopefully that solves it..thanks

what is the chip setup for? that is what sets everything.
the cluster is simply displaying what it sees.

BTW, clusters can be calibrated but it's not easy to do.
