Default special intake with stock one

so i was putting nitrous in my car and i accidentally put my intake on backwards and didnt bother to take it off and redrill a hole then remount it. for some reason before when my intake was on rightside up...i would lose to my friends 00 maxima and then after i turned my intake upside down...i would beat him( and yes that is without the ntirous). any idea to why this is?

How did you get your intake to mount upside down?

Thats what im wondering, did you mount the filter to your TB? And you losing to your friends car, well i think its just pure luck, theres no way an intake alone can change your car that dramatically unless you mounted it to a magical fairy with super powers But this is total quote material
