Default HID foglights

Ok, as everyone knows foglights dont really help much. There just for looks IMO. Thinking about getting HID for my foglights. I have a set of DEPO OEM foglights on my cd7. The bulb size is h3, so do i just buy a h3 HID kit? Or is there more to it? Thanks

I've seen 2 local cars with HIDs installed in factory fog housings, and both blind the living hell out of everybody.

I'm not sure how much road you're expecting fog lights to illuminate, but keep in mind what they're supposed to be used for and how fast you're supposed to be driving in those conditions. Because, IMO, most OEM fogs work exactly as intended.

its not worth the money unless you have serious cash to spend. Most foglight bulbs work just as well. My friend just bought a set of Piaa ion yellow bulbs for his fogs and they work perfect. Unless you want the bling, its just a waste of money.

ok thanks. Im going for that look because if i have HID for my headlights, it will just make my foglight look dim. So a h3 HID kit would work right?

They use H3 aswell but one blew out a week ago, I just bought the H3 silverstar blub I havent instilled it yet(I'am waiting until i get the other bulb)

until then i have no idea how much brighter it will be then my old H3 bulbs.
