just wanted to share my na2 nsx brake install, it was a relatively trouble free process. i got these calipers and brackets from ebay

the stock itr rotors will not work, as the na2 calipers have a taller bracket. here's a pic comparing an itr and nsx sized rotor ( i got RA9 odyssey rotors, you have to bore out the center hole to match the itr hub )

here's a pic comparing the itr and nsx caliper bracket (itr on the left, nsx on the right, the nsx has a smaller opening to compensate for the thicker rotor)

i have heard ( from many ht peeps ) that you HAVE to use the longer nsx caliper bracket bolts. so i tried using them, it turns out they are too long, and will hit the rotor. so i used the itr bolts, perfect fit. i also didn't have to use any washers to space out the caliper bracket, contrary to what i have heard. the rotor is perfectly centered, as you can see fom this pic

here's a pic of the nsx stuff installed ( i will be painting the caliper brackets soon )

you need 16's to clear the brakes, so i used my jdm itr wheels

yes, any spacers needed to clear the 50 offset jdm wheels? looks great btw. any considerable change in feel or pressure? better modulation? i guess it works in perfect sync with the oem booster and abs system.

Painted, you can see the masking tape on the piston that is on the caliper (right side)

probably w/ lower offset wheels you can pull it off.

haven't tested them out yet, i'm doing the other side tonite. these rotors are 300mm in diameter, so i doubt 15's will work. the jdm itr wheels don't need any spacers, plenty of clearance.
Correct.
NA1 rotors = ITR diameter 282mm
NA2 rotors = 300mm.
a very high offset 15 might fit.
Looks very good though. MiraiZ was talking about this swap about a year or more ago....glad somebody finally did it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen 14" ce28's over 282mm itr rotors floating around on this forum, I'm sure you can squeeze custom offset 15's over those 300mm rotors.
no you're right. I have that pic saved somewhere so it's definitely possible.
I came across it while looking up info on the mugen AGBS setup.
But likely not for those who are unwilling to run a fair amount of negative camber as a result.
But hey....racing parts for racing right?

I doubt it Pat; NA1 setup with 15x7 TE37s is already a tight fit.

well the pic I have is actually not the one t0ne mentioned.
It's the AGBS mugen on a set of high offset TEs. So those are 300mm/S2k calipers....go figure... I'll try and get the image hosted.
Ah hell...here it is....found it:

Is there much of a difference in NA1 vs NA2 calipers, brackets, and pads?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm pretty sure the calipers are the same as are the pads but the brackets are different.

yup, although NA2 calipers come with that bling gold finish
