Default help with seibon c/f hood

i bought this off of a guy and i can't get the hood to close all the way. It is a seibon hood and I know that they are suppose to be just bolt on and go. am I missing anything or what. The hood looks sick and especially with the c/f splitter i have too, so i want to get it to work. thanks for all input.

Have you tried adjusting the latch? Keep in mind that it is quite rare for C/F hoods to fit as well as the OEM piece.

Yeah, lower the latch, all the way down. It will work after that.

My Fiber Images hood was right around 1/2 the weight, which worked out to an approximate savings of 15 lbs.

There are bolts on the latch that you loosen, then adjust and tighen again.
