Default CV shaft installation

I just replaced the pass-side cv drive shaft on a 90 crx si. After reassembly of the steering knuckle / wheel hub I had to pull the shaft outward to get enough threads to put the wheel nut back on. After finishing up the install I could feel a definite movement in the shaft at the inboard CV joint. (The driver's side shaft has almost no wiggle in it.) And when I test drove the car a it has a definite low speed wobble / vibration. Worse than before I replaced the shaft.

This was a reman cv shaft from Advance Auto. I don't think it's the right shaft - too short. Whatcha think?

BTW, anyone know how to read the transmission codes for Honda? My son thinks this car had an engine swap so it might not be the original tranny either.

100% just was a shitty balance

Its a reman axle, and its form autozone, I hear of this all the time, I got lucky on mine I guess

Only thing you can do to solve the problem form what I see is take them off and bring them back and theyll give you another set for free, cross your fingers with that set

Ofcourse its not that you get the other axle for free, its the labour it takes to swap em that sucks when it should be over n done with
