Hey whats up, i have a DA

My exhaust seems like its pretty messed up and it hangs way lower than it should. i have a 3 finger rear wheel gap, and the lowest point of my exhaust (midpipe and canister) is 4 fingers from the ground ugh. i will post pics later

anyway, i really want to keep the oem canister and stock tips, but i defenitely want to raise the exhaust up so i dont scrape it on everything, is that possible to do??

also if i get it rebuilt, what size piping should i get??? 2.25? 2.5? My goal will be to ls-vtec or maybe a gsr swap

I have a high flow cat and 2.5 piping includng the cat all the way to the exhuast. It has a nice deep sound to it not to loud. So I would go with 2.5 but thats just my opinion.

dont have anything custom made. i had a custom made 2.5 inch with carsound cat, magnaflow resonator and es tuning muffler. it was to big for NA. I sold that and bought an RS*R ExMag. Ask around, its the BEST exhaust ever!!! and its 2.38.

but if you want to have one custom made, then dont go larger than 2.25. you loose power. trust me.

 

i want to use the stock cannister and tips, or maybe an upgraded canister with stock tips. basically i want it to look 100% oem, so do i use 2.5 piping? i will be running NA

 

I would personally use 2 1/4 if you're staying NA,you'll lose alot of bottom end if you go too big,some backpressure is actually good unless you're boosted.
