'91 accord. Winter car, but holds a special place in my heart.
Anywho, just wanna know a few things about the car.

1. I wanna say it's a "Mainenance" light under the tach? What's that all about? The light or watever it is is red right now. Just wondering what it means since i have a C.E.L. on the dash( it's not lit, just saying it's there)

2. The corner lenses. There are 2 bulbs. 1 is behind the amber section and the other behind the clear part. For the life of me i can't get the clear section bulbs lit. What gives and when do they come on?!?!?!?

3. This is more a general question. Bought the car...not all the spark plug wires snapped down into place. Weird, but OK, we'll see what we can do... Did a tune up(plugs,wires,cap ,rotor etc....) Now only 1 won't go down. Anyone ever experience this? I mean it's a good 1/2" off the plug. Car runs fine, but sometimes it won't start unless you mess around with that wire pushing it down. HELP! I changed the valve cover gasket and spark plugs seals today too in the hopes it might, but alas, failure.

4. In my 93Civic, the heater fan filter is beneath the pass. dash and unscews with 4torx screws. Figured since this bad boy is 15yrs old and probly has never been cleaned out, it might need a looksie. Where the F is it?

1. Maint light is just a timer. It comes on after a set number of miles. Just shove your key into the dash and it will go away, you should see the slot somewhere near there.

3. It may just be the spark plug wire ends that are a little too tight. Maybe try to open the thing up with a screwdriver just a little and then snap it into place.

on the turn signals..

they all should come on but the amber backed ones should blink when you signal a turn, sounds like the bulbs are blown out, if you're not sure, takee the lenses off so you can see the bulbs after dark and put your lights and hazards on, you'll see which onese arent going, if they match both sides, perhaps they were replaced at the same time and are due again

the bulbs are a few bucks its worth it to just get four new ones, dont wanna get pulled over for somethign stupid like that

In case i missed it though, what's with 55mph being called out on the speedo? Optimum speed? I don't get it.......Was the freeway speed limit 55 in 91? lol

 

55mph is the most fuel efficient speed
