fixed the (FTIV) but car still high idel? please help

Default fixed the (FTIV) but car still high idel? please help

just fixed the whole FTIV and put it back togeather. now the car stops the idel surge but when i first start the car high idel at like 3k and stays thier and i see some white smoke out the back of my car but seems to start. now is that bc i have air in my coolant or something? can someone please help me on solving this problem ive been having for like 2 weeks . also if its not surging does that mean its my IACV now? HELP HELP HELP

well if u see white colant it means that u have a blown headgasket or installed / torqued improperly. if u do decide to replace it remeber to check for cracks in your heads to see how coolant might be getting in ut cylinders

i had car stared bunch of times and never had white smoke, all of a sudden trying to fix the fitv and now its kinda smoking, i cant seem to solve this high idel problem, if the iacv is bad what does it make the motor do? idel surge or high rpm at idel?

If the white smoke came after you worked on the IACV, then maybe it is now letting coolant in to the manifold somehow?

that what i was thinking , but i ven ever seen this happen before. what u could do to test this is to bypass the valve and connect the coolant lines together so ur iacv doasent get any coolant.

i havnt touched the iacv yet lol i only pushed the wax pelet back into the fitv and put it back togeater and still have high rpm but not surge and then a lil white smoke comes out back of my car.

yes sorry man i was out pretty late just got home.. check engine light soon as i turn ignition on and start the car. could this be why? i cleaned it out and all but still high idels.. i fixed the fitv bc its not surging anymore.. anymore info could help me out .. thanks
