my car is ideling really high rpm's now i think its be the fitv and im going to check that. but it says to take the intake tube off and put ur finger on the lil hole in the tb, now if i tried this with forced induction would i mess anything up? bc if i try this first befor i take apart the fitv and all that good stuff lol, someone please help me. also is it beter to keep my MAP sensor thats on the firewall or plug the map sensor in on the new z6 throttle body? PLEASE HELP.........
just simply plug the map sensor into the throttle body works great for me. as for the high idle i woud try check my timing, i would check fitv and and i would check for vacumn leaks

can i take my charge pip off while the car is started? will it hurt my car with the turbo on thier not connected? bc i can see if its the fitv for sure if i put my finger in the whole and idel comes down if not the iacv and i check all my vacumm leaks and possibly be the timing.
i dont see the point in doing what you listed above, i would take my fitv off clean the port and the valve itself,if you want to take the charge pipe off the tb and run the car without the pipe connected it wont hurt the turbo or the car.
