Default Lower tie bar..

Hi i was just wondering if putting a lower tie bar on my 99 integra ls will do any good. I'm planning to get the DC sport lower tie bar. [IMG][/IMG]thankz

ive read that tie bars are useless unless ur getting one with a sway bar...like a combo thingy. strut bars though, front and rear, help a lot and i guess everyting help a little bit and overall when u have them all together on ur car it makes a diff.

get rear sways if you really want to feel a big difference.
lower ties look sweet tho

They will help but only mildly. If you are gonna get them (front & rear) go with a solid unit like Carbing, Cusco, Benen, etc. or sway bar tie bar combo units. If you haven't changed sway bar than definately do something like that first. Also a good shock spring combo. The DC unit is more show than function. All there bars flex and have those tension bolt pivot points which means weak points. It does have a cool look though.

Ignore all above post and purchase either a Comptech Full sway/brace combo or ASR sway/brace combo. The Comptech looks friggin sweet and it is rare to see. I've only seen 1 car, other than mine, with it and a couple of ASR braces. Those generics/DC bars are all over the place. BTW, DC bars are easily bendable by hand.
