gsr stroker kits

Default gsr stroker kits

i have a question. Has neone put a stroker kit into a gsr before? I found a crower stroker kit and was wondering if you would have to bore the stock block out or do the pistons they give u just fit in. dont know much about this would appreciate some help thanx. also how much hp and torque gain am i looking at?

Well, it won't need to be bored out, because all you are doing is increasing the length of the space between the crank main journal, to the rod journals, therefore increasing the stoke of the crank/rod/piston assembly. Hence the name "stroker" kit.

But according to Crower, you MAY need to adjust the clearance on the block, due to inconstincies from the factory.
