Default Congrats to Freddy Clark and Shad Sawyer for a Great Weekend at the NHRA E Town Event Freddy's (Quic

I wanted to Congratulate Freddy Clark and Shad Sawyer and Team Accuracy for an AWESOME weekend at the ETown Fall Nationals! Freddy Clark ran a personal best of 9.729@153mph and Shad Sawyer with a 11.941@114mph.

Freddy had been running 10.0s all year and no matter what couldn't get in the 9's. He and his crew chief Matt Kennedy tried everything at the track, Shad Sawyer the tuner had made changes as well. Freddy did this on an SC61 T4 turbo all year, he moved up to a GT40R and some more power and went to E Town hoping for a well prepped track and the good luck that has been with him all year. Freddy's first pass off the trailer was a 10.011@154.72, the mph was there BUT wheel hop was bad at the line for him, we knew he had a 9 second pass this weekend! Next pass was a bad one, when Freddy made the 3rd gear shift and hit high boost BOTH AXLES snapped, he had been on stock axles all year! They swapped to some DSS 300m axles using stock hubs and made another pass which was a 9.801@154mph, he makes it to Eliminations and first round was DQ'ed due to missing some saftey equipment to run 9's (gloves and collar) He made a 9.729@153mph pass. Everyone was ecstatic! Freddy is in the process of getting his cage certified and getting his 9 second lincense and ensuring he has all necessary saftey equipment. He should be running NOPI Turbo Street and NHRA SPWFD next year and should be a force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah he is on a lil bitty B16A that he has run for 3 years now

Shad Sawyer came out with a new set up this year, K into an EG hatch. Started off with a stock motor with just some pistons only and ran some high 12s. Got a new motor and first time ever on some drag radials on thsi set up made the trip to Etown Fall Nationals, qualified 3rd in Street Stock with a 12.099@114.94mph (Traction was an issue at first till he started to figure it out!) Made it to eliminations and first round against Chris Dye , Shad went 11.941@114.69 against Chris' 13.881@108.84, got to the 2nd round of eliminations where Tim Grey who had a stellar weekend and eventually winning the event TREE'D Shad, Pass was a 12.375@114.91 VS Tim's 12.345@110.69. Shad had a great weekend and was only upset for sleeping at the line butthat's racing. Will post some pics of both cars in a few.

Again Congrats guys, thanks go to Matt Kennedy for help on both of the cars and will be helping me next year as well while running his own SPWFD/Turbo Street car

Yes i do drag radials lick butt i need some 25s and 700hp, but on that note its was a good event. We will get the car right first time on radials with new motor with no launch control... The round we lost i spun through 3rd on the log i left at 7800. Oh well!!! Thanks for the post we will see everone soon. Jason hope u get better so we can race together soon. As far as freddy all i can say is antilag works.

damn look at that fat little bastard jump i would like to thank fredy and shad for letting me call the shots when it comes to setting the cars up for the different track conditions. I know some times they look at me and think im nuts but it seems to work. Some times i enjoy being a crew chief more than driving i really enjoyed working with fredy this year he is all ways calm and listens to suggestions maybe one day one of use will have the money to give everybody hell but until then we will be out there having fun

dude. i saw that pic of you jumping (matt), Jenn and I laughed our asses off for like 10 minutes. You did an awesome job this weekend with the staging and changes. You'll be back out soon and it'll circle back to you.

Shad, You suck. But on that note, maybe now you can put some power back in my car since you wont be in Ohio...jp..(gotta love the haters who think you down tune people's cars) But like Jason said, it was awesome seeing you back in it. I'll have something for your *** at Imports vs. Domestics Biatch!

Congrats on the times. Is always a blast hanging out with yalls. Not sure what you were doing up in Yankee land yet. Hope that you can make more Etown/NJ events. See you next season!

This is my second write up because the first one got deleted by accident DOH! In the first write up I thanked Brian Ballard as well since you helped on every pass, you watched the passes and gave us pointers as you have all year. We really appreciate yours and Jason's help with Freddy's car. You guys are great, it was great hanging out with all YOUS GUYS in Yankeeville!

Brian also told us that Freddy's CRX had the highest MPH for a CRX in Turbo Street class. It is higher than both Jason and him, I dunno either way Freddy is flying and has had a lot of help along the way.

It's been a hell of a year. I knew 9's were insight just didn't know when I would hit it. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped and stuck by me this whole year, couldn't have done it without you guys. Shad for the excellent tuning and parts, Matt for being a hell of a crew chief, Terry for getting me parts and driving the tow vehicle, (not to mention getting my trailer hit by an 18 wheeler) Chris T. for helping me build this motor 3 years ago, Jason and Brian for ideas and support, Joe Simpson for a set of slicks, and last but not least I'd like to thank my SPONSOR, my wife Sarah for putting up with my **** and being there for me on many occasions. Big thanks to everyone. We will see you at Imports vs. Domestics. sorry if I missed anyone.
