how are these CF hood fit and quility?

does anyboy have this CF hood on their usdm type R's??

they look good on the pics? but how are they?

 

That site makes their hoods look very good. One thing funny looking is when they are comparing the corners, the edges don't look llke CF.

the kaminari cf hood look so much nicer then the factor X hood on pics

There hoods are very clean, the edges look as if they are painted as well as around the scoop area. My friend has one on a civic si and it is a really nice hood. A little expensive...but you get what you pay for.

 

Anybody know if they can make a CF hood to fit JDM converted ITRs? Can they make a hood without that black lining around the hood? I dont really like that...

I can get you a kaminari hood, which one were you looking for? The kaminari hoods are really nice all around you should see them in person to really see the quality. Although, their hoods are kind of on the heavy side if comparing to standard cf hoods on the market. The reason being that it has a tough fiberglass skeleton and doesn't require hood pins at all.

Just so you know the hood has a scoop in the middle.

 

you can buy one without the hood scoop.

 

Ask Black R....he had with the scoop for a day!
