2000 civic se 2dr coupe: cannot clear codes. (#1 tried pulling fuses...no joy) (#2 unhooked battery for a few hours...no joy)(#3 Haynes manual says to bridge the test leads, then put foot on brake, then turn key to position 2. when light goes out let off brake, when light comes back on, depress brake pedal again till light goes out...then wait for 2 quick flashes to confirm codes are cleared....I never get the 2 lights and the codes are still there...no joy) I understand that there could be a hard code that you cannot clear but there are about seven codes including 3 wheel sensors and a motor lock. I just finished changing the pump/modulator after a brake shop insisted it was shot. I don't want to pay $40 to clear the codes while there could still be other things to fix. Thanks.
