Default ABS Codes

Hey guys, I recently had my brake and ABS light come on in my 95' integra GSR. I have pulled the code and it gave me a 2 1 which as I read I believe is a parking brake code. Just wondering if anyone has run into this and what they did to fix it because I don't really know where to start. Thanks

Default Re: ABS Codes

Well, just to let you know, according to my manual, the most common reason for an abs failure is dirty or worn sensors. They are simply magnets. Typically when your brake light comes on, the fluid is low. Some cars will actually throw the light for worn pads. Check for leaks, check fluid levels in both resiviors. Also you may need to clean and grease your slider bolts and replace the rubber boots. Very common issue for these cars.
