Ls Questions (post swap)
I posted this in hybrid first....no responses. Guess whare Im not ever posting again.
I just got done with my B18b swap in to my 90 si. It runs like a champ...no codes. Here are my questions... Im using a 93 teg ecu and a 95 B18b. I think the redline on the 93 is 6900, and on the 95 engine its 6700. (calling acura right now). Just wanted to know if I need to keep it below 6700 or not. Also, will using the stock 93ls ecu hamper the perfomance of the B18b? One more thing...anyone else running a B18b, what suspension are you using? Thanks in advance.

If you are using the 93 B18 ECU, that means you have already converted to OBD1. If this is the case you would be better served to switch over to the 95 LS ECU. My understanding is that the 94-95 have better fuel maps.

So did you change to OBD-1 or no? I am running a 91 LS ECU with my 95 B18B, it redlines at 7K. I don't think there is any performance issue but I dont think it would hurt to change to a newer ECU. If you want to go through the hassle.
The only code I did get and still get is 43. It comes and goes....no biggie.

I'm using a mugen chipped 91 LS ECU with a 9200 redline...not that I'll ever reach that even with my up coming ls/vtec motor. Suspension is 4 blue tokico shocks and green neuspeed springs. Front and rear strut bars (lower tie still to come).
Well it pulls really nice. I took my friend adam with me last night, he owns a 00 lude and he said its easily as fast. (15sec 1/4) I like it alot...I used my si harness for the swap, and the wiring was pretty simple after that.

According to the Hybrod board, there is no performance advantage to be seen from switching from a 1992-1993 PR4 to a 1994-1995 P75. BUT the 1992-1993 PR4 and 1994-1995 P75 are both better than the 1990-1991 PR4. The 1990-1991 PR4 does not provide sufficient fuel in the higher RPMs.
