OMG 3k for that i would take that off your hands in a second. i would part it out honestly. your insane if you dont. I do not understand the car market in the states. seriously. My 4th gen can sell for 14gs right now where in the states you can buy my car for probably 5 grand. You guys car market is insane it just does not make any sense to me at all.
U might wanna make sure ur valves are all bent before you go and sell it. I know whos timing belt just broke and he thought his was all done for, got it inspected and everything was fine, no bent valves.
u might want to part the car out great idea but if u dont want any husteling or taking it apart just sell it as it is and i think u can get more then 3k
Sell all the sound system stuff out of it and minus that from $3000 and I'll probably buy it.
Honestly it's hard to find the right person to buy a car that doesn't run. Since the normal person expects a 2001 Prelude to run, they won't look into it.
But good luck. Probably better to fix it and sell it.
2-4k is probably how much you can sell it for. 5k is really high for around here. I bought my wife a 1999 Base w/ less miles that ran for $6500.

PM'd, (possible noob embarking on making a prolude) which means more and more questions for the vets to answer, which will in turn, keep H-T running and fuel the black hole in my pockets. BUT ! chickmagnet the entire time.
honestly if you lived in canada, you could part out all the upgrades and get at least 3gs out of just those, and you could part out every part of the interior and most of the engine stuff and get about 3gs from that and sell your frame for about 2 to 3 gs as well. imo if you dont part it out i think something is wrong in your head. If you dont you should at least get 6 grand. Infact, look on the for sale thread, you can find complete heads for 400 to 500 dollars. If you want i could get someone to ship a complete head down to you so you could just switch them and get a good 10 or whatever crazy low prices you guys sell your cars for.
