my car is smoking and i was wondering what kind of smoke is good and what is bad. for example white/blue/black /grey!

 

you dont want any smoke coming from your car. smoke is a symptom to a problem. what color is the smoke coming from your car?

burning oil. aka headgasket.

burning oil. ever see a 2 stroke?
if you burn oil you'll most likely see blue smoke coming from your exhaust.

 

any kind of smoke is obviously not good.

 

blue=oil
black=fuel
white=coolant

Sounds good to me.

I would suggest doing a search there is a recent thread on engine smoking
conditions.

 

smoke from exhaust = bad, why does no one understand this
you should have no smoke at all

 

Means neglect and driving it like its a car that it is not .

 

I have an oil smoke from the exhuast... It is ONLY when the oil temp is 35 - 70 C degree.. above 70 there is nothing.. When my car is idling the smoke comes out.. If i push it a full throttle, a large smoke comes out.. When I drive, no smoke.. When I race, no smoke.. I think it smokes oil only in cold/mid condition... When it is Hot there is no problem..

I filled over the oil once, the engine got 0,6 liter oil above the max sign..

Could it be the problem in my turbo gasket ?
Or the head has some trouble?
