Seat rail adapter brackets
Hi everyone. I recently had the drivers seat pan fail in my 89 civic hatch. It's the later model (90-91) where the seatbelts are on the center console and only the right rail adjusts the forward/backward motion. The left rail rear nut broke from the pan and soon after the forward support broke off the tack welds that held it to the pan. I beat it out, but there was no saving it without welding and even then the damage robbed it of all the strength.
I've been working on adapting a great pair of seats I got from 1FlySI, but they are the earlier model rail and don't match up to any of the existing bolts. I was wondering if any store is selling adapter plate solutions to this problem. I'm currently using a simple wood adapter.
Next I am going to try a seat pan swap, but the junkyard down the street that told me they had it is never open when I can go over there.
I've read that this is a common problem, but I've seen very few solutions other than custom fab work.

probably your easiest and cheapest solution.
