civic seat pan with s2k rails???
I have a pair of s2k seats with civic rails and seat pan. I'm trying to put the seat back into my s2k so I bought some oem rails from a s2k for the seats. I didn't however purchase the seat pan. Can I still use the s2k rails and bolt on them on the seat without replacing the civic seat pan ? or do I need to get s2k seat pans to make the s2k rails work? I read somewhere that they switch out the s2k seat pan for the civic's so it would recline much further foward. I'm totally lost and need some great guide so I don't end up wasting more money then I already have. ****KKIng Theives stole my shiET now It's a headache to replace these parts!

As long as the bolts and holes match up you should be good to go. As a matter of fact, it will work. That's the whole reason the swap is possible.

Re: civic seat pan with s2k rails???
I've done this conversion. I put the eg seat pan and rails on S2000 seats.
you will need the s2000 seat pans. When I did the conversion I did not want to switch pans but I had to so that everything bolted up fine.
Looking back on it now, I guess you could just drill new holes in the eg seat pans. but I would not recommend this... too many things to mess up and be out of alignment.
Sorry, easiest way is to use the s2k seat pans for your situation.

All you need to do is swap the seat pan from the 92-00 seats onto the S2K seat bottom.
Then you use your existing 5th/6th gen rails, on your civic pan, on the s2k seat.
There.

You can not mount the s2k seats into your 92-00 car with the s2k rails.
The seat pan, rails, sliders, brackets etc must be from your civic and put on the s2k seat.
Nothing from the seat pan of the s2k down is used. Just the literal seat.

Doh.
Then yes. You'll need the seat pan and rails from an s2k.
Sorry, I get up for work at 5am and my reading comprehension is apparently down the toilet this afternoon.
