im sorry you bought pacesetter. you get what you pay for... Yes you will need some stuff swapped out. i have effin poisen ivy between my fingers and cant type, so ill let the others take it from here....ill just say this, if u bought the motor for 500, why didnt u just get a ZC then get a different tranny? thats what i would do with an hf.
If you know where i can get a ZC and a tranny for $500 please let me know, Cuz i didnt pick the engine and tranny up yet. Also the pacesetter i have no complaints about it gave me what i was looking for and I've had it for a year now and still holding up nicely
conversion harness. Its like doing a mini-me. I think you have to do some tom-fullary with the distributor connectors, and wire up for vtec 2 wires back to the ecu and one gronded. The 1 wire o2 is replaced and a four wire o2 is wired in. I know there must be more stuff so let him know guys.
well sir, im certainly glad your pacesetter is holding up. I have many friends that tried it and it was eaten to ****, but then again im in PA with crappy winters and these were all daily drivers. I cant tell you where to get a tranny/ZC for 500, but check you junkyard. MIne has the ZC motors for 580 i believe, and all tranny's for 350. I know you can get a tranny a heck of alot cheaper than that. Personally if you are like me an d not in a rush, just save until you get what you really want, whether it be a B, D, H, or K, it just all takes money. here is a ZC at what i have been told is a fare price...http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30020
LOL i know how them roads in PA can be i lived there for 9 years.Live in florida now ,Smooth roads and sand. This is my first project car and i must say i am loving the crx.I am just looking to do an engine swap with a decent engine for this on. For my 1993 Civic LX im saving up to buy the B18C might be a tight fit but i think it will work. 210 BHP. Thanks for the info
