jdm gsr block w/ jdm b16a head?

Default jdm gsr block w/ jdm b16a head?

will i gain a good amount of horsepower?
will everything fit perfectly?
what are some problems to worry about?

you will lose a little power since the gsr head yields a higher compression than the b16 head

What?!

The b16 flows better. The b18c1 lower end + b16 head is the poor mans type-r.

B16 head drop's the compression on a gsr block. If you want to do the build the correct way you will need the following...

CTR or ITR cam
CTR or ITR Pistons
CTR or ITR Intake mani & Tb

Now if you want to just use the Stock GSR with a B16 head that will be fine for a Boosted Project. Thats what Im running and Love it.

stop right now before you get clowned..poor mans R consists of more than just stickin a b16 head on a stock block...
