Civic DX. Did it have sway bars?
I did some searching but to no avail. Does the Civic DX have stock front or rear swaybars?
I know the Std has none, and the Si has both. But does the DX have any?

exaclty correct.....i would think the biggest benifit would come from installing a good pair of aftermarket bars like ST like i have on my CRX...BIG difference.

yes and no, you have to take the stock si mounts and weld them to plate that bolts onto where the rear tow hooks are.

I am talking about the DX front swaybar.
1) Is it even worth grabbing?
2) Is it a direct bolt-on?

1) yes and the dx/si front sway is 18mm
2) yes https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1436632
i hope that helps

the front DX 3dr Hatch/CRX swaybar is the SAME as the Si 3dr Hatch/CRX bar, 18mm.
sedans had 19mm front swaybars.
no car other than the Si's, civic and CRX, had a REAR swaybar, and the chassis mountings for it.
civic STD hatch did not come with any front swaybar.
crx HF came with a smaller, hollow front swaybar.
installing a rear swaybar, of any thickness, will make a difference for the better.
here's a thread on what someone else alluded to mounting a Si or DA rear swaybar into a non Si chassis.

yes. just need the bushings that are sized with it.
even a DA front swaybar will work. its 23mm hollow.
