1990 STD Doesn't come with front sway bar... right? Is this a mount??
I recently ordered an Si front sway bar with lower control arms and mounting hardware for my project hatch. My hatch is a 1990 STD model.
I was under the impression that the stock lower control arms needed to be replaced because the stock LCAs don't have a mounting hole in them.
But, upon further inspection of my car, I found what looks to be sway bar mounts in the front lower control arms.
Is that what this is? And if so, I don't need new LCAs to mount the Si sway bar right??

</TD></TR></TABLE>yep... those are sway bar endlink holes... depending on your setup i'd run eather a Si bar or a Teg bar... and use energy suspention endlinks, it's worth the $25

i didnt know STD civics didnt come with a swaybar. i thought all civics and crx came with at least a front bar.
i suppose you should check if the swaybar bushings holes are there on the subframe near the steering rack. they probably are. then youre set to go.
anyway, youve got a lot of stock options for running a front swaybar. this is the order in size. the HF and DA bars are hollow tho, for whatever thats worth.
HF
DX/Si
Sedan
DA
but id be more interested in putting some kind of rear swaybar in for better handling.

Cool
Thanks for the info.
And yeah, I already have a Suspension Techniques rear sway bar.
Does anyone by chance have the part number for the ES front sway bar end links??
