15" rims will be cheaper. Also, like previously mentioned, the tire selection will be better and most likely cheaper.
As for looks, well that's your call boss. I guess you have to wiegh each of these factors and make your choice.

15's only look good if the car is really slammed. i prefer a mild drop and 16's. and i really doubt there is a big difference in ride comfort between 15's and 16's. ride quality will depend more on tire size than if you get 15 or 16 inch rims.
